As become a Christian, there is a manner with which we are expected to talk; the HOW of speeches.
Some many years ago when I newly gave my life to Christ, I used to go to one brother who was an unbeliever to preach, he was a shoe mender.
This brother had sincerely been yielding to the word of God, asking new questions daily. But one fateful day, I was in his shop and he wasn't around and I had to wait for him in the next shop.
The women in the next shop were very loose and their conversation was very dirty. Somehow I was dragged into the conversation and I didn't know when this brother came back into his shop, heard me speak like them and when I finally knew he was around and went to him, he simply looked at me and said "Do you also suppose to talk like them?" And you know what? That was the end of preaching to that brother. I was greatly ashamed.
O Comrade, can you evangelise your neighborhood, friends, colleagues at work etc with the manner of speech they know you with?
I saw an inscription on an evangelical placard reading "You aren't able to preach to the world because you're part of it". Is this true of you? Think about it.
