EXPLOITS: GOD'S PERSPECTIVE 4

EXPLOITS: GOD'S PERSPECTIVE 4
Another way Jehovah sees and define exploits is:
2. Standing for Righteousness and damning persecution.
Dan.6:4-10; 11:32-35 (Read them in different versions: LB, NLT, TMSG, GNB)
In Acts 4:13-21 we see men of the early Church standing their grounds even in the face of persecution. They asked rather if it is correct to obey men or God. This is not stubbornness but adherence.
To stand for righteousness in this world of wickedness, injustice and corruption is not as easy as it is being said, it takes dogged trust in God and "hatred" for one's life (Luke 14:26) to do so.
Men who stand for righteousness are not always loved. In fact, they face great opposition and persecution. Sometimes it even costs the life of the righteous.
Do you give or take bribe? Do you cut corners too? Do you look the other way when unrighteousness is practiced because you want to preserve your life and maintain being loved? Do you share of the dividend of unrighteousness?
Arise now, O comrade, repent, stand for righteousness first, in your life and then, in your environment.
For Jehovah God is not moved by what you have but what you stand for.
Meditate on this.
Shalom.
