Respect is fast being eroded from the dictionary of this generation; no respect is shown for old age anymore and that not even for God.
We claim to be God's children yet we treat Him like some nonentity. Like the men of old, we may also be asking " how are we disrespecting God?"
When you come late for church service, when you receive calls indiscriminately during worship, when you're chatting on social media during church service, when you gossip during service, when you bring as offering money you can't spend in the market etc. Is that a sign of respect? Can you try these with your interviewers, employers, superiors at work during board meeting?
Jehovah therefore said "When you say, 'The al­tar of God is not important anymore; wor­ship of God is no longer a prior­ity,' that's defil­ing. And when you offer worth­less ani­mals for sac­ri­fices in wor­ship, ani­mals that you're trying to get rid of—blind and sick and crippled ani­mals—isn't that defil­ing? Try a trick like that with your banker or your sen­ator—how far do you think it will get you?" God-of-the-An­gel-Armies asks you." Vs 7,8
O comrade, do you believe Rev. 5:10? Your attitude and action towards God show how much respect you have for Him. Now judge yourself, how much respect do you have for the Almighty?
