POWER OF CHOICE 8
In the book of Ruth chapter 1:16-18; 4:13-17 we saw a woman who chose to follow Yahweh blindly.
Following Naomi was actually a decision to follow Yahweh the Holy One of Israel even though it doesn't make sense to common sense to leave certainty for uncertainty.
But at the end, we see what Jehovah God made out of her life. Orpah who in verse 14 chose to follow human reasoning, going for what looks more logical blotted herself out of the glorious destiny Jehovah God has arranged for her to come into.
O comrade, though the path of salvation is never wise to the perishing (1Cor.1:18-25;2:14), the choice is still yours(Deut.30:15-19).
May the Lord grant us all enlightenment that we may choose life on daily basis.
