1. They live by personal convictions. Job 42:5
"But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard" Acts 4:19,20.
Men of exploits are not men of shallow convictions, they don't live by what they are merely told but by what they have come to personally know.
"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ". 1John1:1-3
No wonder even death could not separate them from the love of Christ; the Apostles died cruel deaths yet holding up their convictions. They wrought exploits in their days, the kingdom of Jehovah God forcefully advanced under their ministry and the world was made a better place for humanity.
How much of this God do you even know O comrade? Have you come to know Him personally? Have you truly touched the reality of eternity or you just coast along driven by every wind of doctrine and tossed here and there by worldliness?
You can do NO exploit that way rather, you shall be exploited all your life. This notwithstanding how much testimonies you have about the ephemeral, perishable substances your faith has gotten for you.
In all your gettings O comrade, get the reality of this Living God.
Shalom.
