5. Death means nothing to them. Esther 4:10,11,15 and 16; Dan.3:17, 18.
"Our brothers conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not cling to their lives even in the face of death" Rev.12:11 ISV
Death is dreadful and as such, the whole human race is enslaved to it; man can sacrifice all he has to avoid death. But to us believers, we have understanding that death is vanquished.
"We were like slaves all our lives because we were so afraid of death. But Jesus has made us free."
One of the reasons the Church has grown weak is because even we like mere men are afraid of death and cannot afford to die even if that is what it will cost us to stand for righteousness. The Church cannot say the truth straight anymore but have grown diplomatic in avoidance of persecution or death.
The number of terrorists in the world compare to the world populace is insignificant but they're shaking the whole world because they are not afraid to die for what they believe and their exploits even though negative are heard daily in the news.
If those who believe falsehood are shaking the world because they fear not death, should you who believe right, who have a sure hope of life in the hereafter, who are already sealed with divine seal until the day of redemption fear death?
