HOW ARE YOUR PARENTS?
"But instead of obeying this, you teach people something different. You let a person say to his father or mother, “I would have given these good gifts to you, but I cannot. Instead, I have given them to God.” Then, you let him give nothing to his mother and father." Matt.15:5 EasyEnglish version
In Matthew 15:1-6 Jesus speaks about the abomination of not taking care of one's parents in the name of "working for God".
No matter what, your parents remain your parents and as such, deserve your care.
Many of our spiritual leaders today don't even bother to ask how much care do people give to their parents as long as they are "sowing" into the ministry/life of the man of God. This is an aberration from the norm in the kingdom.
Though is is true that some spiritual parents take responsibility both of spiritual and biological parents over people's lives in some cases yet, if truly they are spiritual and are led by the Spirit of the living God, they will be tending the persons towards a healthy relationship with their parents, no matter the offense of the parents.
O comrade, know this and understand, no matter how much you give to God's work or to men of God at the expense of your parents' welfare IS A WASTE.
Don't wait until they die in penury before you go home in your big car with ignorant friends to celebrate your lying "Glorious Exit" of your miserable parents. Be a correct kingdom species.
