TOO INTELLIGENT TO BE WISE

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1

Many times we try to intelligently reason out God; subjecting God to brain analysis.

Daniel Kolenda once said he has over the years discovered people go to the college to spend many years to become stupid. This may sound insulting but it's the truth.

I once asked a young man who claim to believe in God but not Jesus, what if you're my friend and after promising me a thing I smiled in disbelief. When you ask me why I smiled, I then told you "well, I believe you but not your word". How does that sound? The young man said "It's not possible to believe me when you don't believe my word". I further asked if he were sure of what he was saying and he said "You can only believe me through my word".

That's exactly the reality. If Jesus is the word of God and if God did not first exist before creating His word but existed with His word then, I don't think it is even reasonable to claim to believe in God and sidetrack Jesus His word. No wonder Jesus said "...I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6

O comrade, how much faith do you have in Christ? Don't be deluded into trading your salvation through Christ with earthly wisdom that saves no man.

Devil will use everything within his capacity to intimidate, terrorise or persuade you to lose your salvation.

Hold fast to your salvation in Christ through faith and let it not slip away on the platform of "intelligence" and you shall be saved.
