WHAT SIN WORKS IN MAN

In 1Chronicles 5:1 the word of God gives us light into what sin does in a man's life. Sin displaces and this is death!(Rom.6:23).
Reuben lost his birthright for few moments of sinful pleasure. He lost his place in destiny and was replaced by the sons of Joseph (Gen.49:1-4).
It doesn't matter what angle sin gets to find expression in a man's life, it displaces and replaces a man of destiny no matter how great he is meant to be. For Reuben, it found expression through his appetite and love for sexual pleasure. But for Judas, it found expression through his appetite and love for money. But the results were the same; displacement and replacement. Mark 14:10,11; Acts 1:15-26.
O Comrade, what sin is it that is ravaging your life, becoming habitual and aiming vehemently to pull you off the true Vine so as to get you displaced? Never be deceived by these enemies of the cross that are today spread all over the Church in the name of teachers and preachers who say sin found in a believer does not have any effect, run to the Saviour and He will save you before you get displaced. He is always eager to do so.
As you run to the Saviour, believe that you can live without sin because the word of God says so and strive to live the life of Christ under the influence of the power of grace and you shall be saved.
