Now, Lord may be interpreted either as someone of high esteem; a respectable person in a community or a master (that is, someone who has control over one).
Jesus being Lord is to some an entity deserving some respect and nothing more. But to genuine sons of the kingdom, He is Master (John 13:13); before whom we all shall appear to be judged according to whatever we have done while on earth, whether we walked in obedience utilizing grace (do good) or abuse grace in disobedience (do bad). 2Cor.5:10.
Do you have a new revelation of the word O comrade that Jesus Who hates iniquity and love righteousness "has shown" you that has built indifference about the matter of sin in your life?
Is Jehovah God the Master over your life or just an entity that deserves some respect.
If you claim Jesu is Lord over your life then know that obedience is expected from you as a servant.
Matt.7:21-23 gives us a hint that many men of faith will be condemned on the last day due to lawlessness whether they choose to be conscious of it or not.
23. "And then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’' NHEB.
O comrade, don't be decieved, your doings will show if the faith you claim to have is genuine or not.
May the Lord grant us genuine understanding of His will.
