TALK LESS, PRAY MORE

Why do we have all of these evil in the world when we who claim to be more than conqueror are in it? Does that mean the scripture is untrue? No! Not at all.
Evil persists because we talk more than we permit our being in Christ to find expression.
Our victory in Christ over the world and evil can be effected only on our knees.
Gordon Cove wrote in one of his publications "When Jesus won the great victory of Calvary, He in effect said to His disciples: "I have won back the world from Satan. Now you must take it from Satan. Take what I have won for you." But Satan will not easily let go what has been his for centuries. He is a tremendous stiff fighter. Therefore, prayer must be persistent. The taking must be as insistent as Satan is persistent, and that's where the fight comes in"
O comrade, how much time have you spent praying on that same thing you spend much time complaining about?
One of my fathers in the faith once told me, "God's promises are always hanging for you, you are meant to pluck them through prayer".
Talking about God's promises will not bring them to pass. They are to be birthed into fulfilment in the place of prayer.
Mind you, devil does not have power to hinder God's promises over a man, a nation, a community or the church but may hinder men from getting fulfilment through ignorance or complacency and prayerlessness.
O comrade, arise on your knees and effect the victory of the cross. The Church and Nigeria are waiting for you.
Talk less comrade, pray more.
