In my early days in ministry an elder brother in the faith told me "If you sincerely and faithfully serve the Lord as you will do your career boss, He will surely pay your salary". This statement is ever true and I am a living witness.
If God by His Spirit admonishes us believers to make sure we owe no man, how can He ever owe any man who serves Him faithfully seeking first His kingdom (Matt. 6:33).
Now O comrade, before you start accusing God of unfaithfulness check if the way you serve your earthly bosses with all rigor, alacrity, faithfulness, commitment and no contempt is the same in the service of God.
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" Gal.6:7.
His words are yea and amen, He will not deny Himself and your case is sure too small to make God a debtor but note that he deserves that reverential fear from you than your human boss.
