People will love only themselves. They will want lots of money. They will think that they are much more important than other people. And they will talk about how great they are. They will say bad things about other people. They will not obey their parents. They will not thank anyone. They will not think that other people, or God, are important. They will not do what is proper to other people.
People will not even love their own families. They will refuse to agree with other people. They will say wrong things about other people, things that are not true. They will be unable to rule themselves properly. They will be cruel like wild animals. They will be enemies of everything that is good.
People will turn against their friends. They will not think carefully before they do things. They will be completely sure that they are very, very important. They will not love God, but instead they will want very much to enjoy themselves.
Those people will seem to worship God. But really, they will refuse to let God work in them. You must stay away from people like that." 2Tim.3:1-5 EasyEnglish version.
O Comrade, peruse your life for these evil virtues that are characteristics of the end time. Does any of these finds expression in you or
through you?
The characters of men overtaken by the spirit of
the end times:
1. "They will love only themselves"
They will be love preachers but will never show love to those who do not belong to their camp or school of thought; only themselves not even members of
their family.
2. "They will want lots of
money"
They will not mind doing
anything to amass money for themselves; they'll love money above the souls of men.
3. "They will think they are much more important than other people"
They will be self conceited seeing others as less/not important. Thinking they can do without others and even God Himself.
4. "They will talk about how great they are"
They will boast about who they are and if they are "Christians", they'll find scriptures to back their expression of pride.
5. "They will say bad things about other people"
They will enjoy "Pull them down to rise" techniques to promote themselves. If they are preachers, they will find the weaknesses of other preachers, deride them and present themselves stronger to gain acceptability among the ignorants.
6. "They will not obey their parents"
They will grow in rebellion against their parents all because they
feel they are better perhaps in knowledge, outlook, wisdom, etc than their parents. They will disrespect fathers with impunity.
