People will love only themselves. They will want lots of money. They will think that they are much more important than other people. And they will talk about how great they are. They will say bad things about other people. They will not obey their parents. They will not thank anyone. They will not think that other people, or God, are important. They will not do what is proper to other people.
People will not even love their own families. They will refuse to agree with other people. They will say wrong things about other people, things that are not true. They will be unable to rule themselves properly. They will be cruel like wild animals. They will be enemies of everything that is good.
People will turn against their friends. They will not think carefully before they do things. They will be completely sure that they are very, very important. They will not love God, but instead they will want very much to enjoy themselves.
Those people will seem to worship God. But really, they will refuse to let God work in them. You must stay away from people like that." 2Tim.3:1-5 EasyEnglish version
7. "They will not thank anyone"
They will lift rights above responsibilities and thereby never see reason to be grateful for anything. Whatever their parents do for them is seen as their birthright for which their parents deserve no thanks. Even God, as long as they're in Christ does not deserve thanks for whatever as it is their right in Christ.
8. "They will not do what is proper to other people"
They will be too proud and self conceited and exhibit superiority complex.
9. "They will refuse to agree with other people"
This is not because they are standing for righteousness or the truth but because they want to glory in enforcing their ideas.
10. "They will say wrong things about other people, things that are not true"
They will be rumour mongers, speaking with full audacity things they no little/nothing about.
11. "They will not be able to rule themselves properly"
They lack self control and can let loose the flesh anytime.
12. "They will be cruel like wild animals"
They'll be heartless in their dealings with people around them.
None of these is found in Jesus the meek and lowly in heart.
When you see traces of any of these in your life O comrade, don't deceive yourself or be deceived, cry out to God for help and He will sure come to your aid. He is eager to help.
